Chef D'Angelo

I can finally share with you one of my favorite places to eat, Chef D'Angelo. Last week me and my childhood friends had lunch because one of my friends will be flying to Taiwan for work. Since we were looking for a place to eat where it's affordable yet very yummy, I suggested Chef D'Angelo. My best friend agreed with my suggestion so we had our lunch here. We actually ordered the same food. Super yummy!

I super love their nachos even if the ingredients is not complete. With just these two dips, I am super solve!

\

This is their Sampler 1. If I am not mistaken, this cost P155.00 and the chicken is big, I must say this is one of the things I love about Chef. This is what I ordered, pasta with red sauce.

My friend ordered the same Sampler but with white sauce on the pasta. You see the chicken? It's big and it's yummy, very tasty!

I ordered this for my daughter and for the 2 kids we were with. This costs P48.00 and it's not bad because my daughter ate a lot of this and still was able to share with other kids.

They have a lot of menu and food to offer! This is a must try! I am not sure though where the other branches of Chef D'Angelo but the one we went to was in SM Mall of Asia, South of the mall.

Spicy Tofu

I just wanted to share with you this really easy yet very yummy recipe I got from a friend on Instagram, Spicy Tofu. This is very easy and I'm sure your family will love this. My husband did!

Here's what you need:
4 pcs. tofu
magic sarap
pepper
Spicy Breading (I used Spicy Crispy Fry)
Oil for frying

Here's how to prepare:
- Slice tofu into rectangular shapes or can be cubed, depending on your choice of cut.
- Sprinkle Magic Sarap and Pepper.
- Dredge in spicy breading.
- Fry until golden brown and crispy.

That's it! So easy! You can pair this up with pork and make tokwa't baboy. We actually tried doing that the other day and it made the dish extra yummy! Try them now! Enjoy!

Flavours of China

It's my husband's 25th birthday today and since we are into big celebration and all, we decided to have a late lunch at Flavours of China in SM Sucat. My husband requested to eat here and he said he missed the food here.

This is actually my favorite part, the chicharon part! They serve this while you're order is being prepared. I remember when we ate here with my family, they really had to ask for another plate of this!

We super love this Seafood Fried Rice (P235) and I think this is already good for 4 persons because we didn't finish this plateful of rice.

This is one of favorite, Salt and Pepper Spareribs with vinegar, priced at P255 per order. I like this because it's crispy and very good partner with vinegar.

This is their Fried Chicken, priced at P210 for a half order of it. My husband likes this when we ate it at home (leftover chicken). I especially like the gravy partnered to it.

Their refillable iced tea priced at P60, nothing special with this iced tea. But I like the taste of it here.

According to my husband, if he were to choose again where to eat, he'd choose Savory. He said this straight forward. I am not sure if you agree with my husband or not. He said that you can get the same menu for a lower price and even better tasting food at Savory. But overall, the food was great but I am not sure whether we'll dine here again if I'm with my husband. :)

Home Made Burger Steak

I wanted to share with you this yummy home-made burger steak, a recipe I got from my sister-in-law. Okay, before you move that eyebrow, the burger patties are not home-made but if you know how to make one, the better!

Here's what you need:

6 pcs. burger patties
1 beef cube
1 small can mushroom
1 pack of Nestle Cream

How to prepare:

- Fry the burger patties. Set aside.
- Heat a pan and add Nestle Cream. Once the the cream is hot, add the beef cube and stir it until the cube is dissolved.
- Add mushroom and continue stirring for 5 minutes.
- Pour to the burger patties, or serve separately.

It's so easy! You can also add a small amount of water, depending on your taste. I actually bought a fail burger patty so I will do this again next week using CDO Burger patties. :)

Oishi's Choco Chug

I was browsing through Instagram and I saw that Juliana Gomez received Oishi's Choco Chug and that it's her new favorite drink. Then I saw in one blog about a review of the same,so as curious as I can be, I scouted where I can spot this.

Last Tuesday, I went to Puregold and did some grocery shopping and spotted this! I felt like I found a pot of gold. Haha. I grabbed 2 250ml of this, one for me and one for my daughter. This  250ml Choco Chug cost around P17 in Puregold.

The next morning, I showed it to my daughter and gave it to her for breakfast. I was a bit afraid that she might taste the oats inside even though it shows "finely ground oats" on the label. When I handed it over to my daughter, she tasted it and said, "Wow, ang sarap Mommy ah!" Yay! She liked it. I had my own sip of it and to my surprise, it was not too sweet like other chocolate drink (you know what I'm referring to) and you can't taste the oats. I actually like it.

This is my daughter drinking "my" Choco Chug. She grabbed it to me and said it was hers. Haha. This is our new favorite! Grab yours now!

Yana's Bagoong and Chili Oil

It was my first attempt to buy edible goodies online. I posted my favorite mango and bagoong and one seller commented on my photo and said to try her home made bagoong. So I looked into her account and checked out the photos and customers who bought from her. Everybody seems to like her home made bagoong so I got curious and decided to order the bagoong and chili oil. Bagoong costs P150 and the chili oil is for P50.

These goodies arrived last Thursday and yesterday I made my favorite ensaladang mangga and used the bagoong I bought. Okay, to be honest, it doesn't taste like the bagoong you can buy from the groceries like Barrio Fiesta and other brands. Why? This is home made so there's no preservatives added which is a good thing. My sister said it's pure. This bagoong is not spicy, by the way.

Since my husband was not here when I first made my ensaladang mangga, I made another one today and this time, I mixed it with the chili oil. Then voila! That was the taste I was looking for, spicy bagoong! So yummy! I like this mix so much!

If you want to order or check out their IG account, you can search for @onlineshopaholic and you will see other satisfied customers like me. Weeee!! Cheers to all bagoong lovers out there!
