Army Navy

Las Monday, me and my husband had a dinner date at Army Navy in BF Homes, Paranaque. I am a lover of mexican food and I super love burritos and quesadillas and nachos, and this is a perfect place for me.

Here's what we ordered:

2 orders of their Fearless Fried Chicken (175.00 per order)
1 order of Freedom Fries and cheese dip (95.00)
1 order Steak Quesadillas (175.00)
2 orders of large Libertea (75.00 per order)
1 Carnitas Burrito (185.00)

My husband said that their food is not that tasty. I didn't like the chicken because there was nothing so special about it except for the gravy with peppercorn on it. I love their quesadillas and I was able to eat the whole order because I didn't eat the chicken. Their freedom fries is a bit spicy and the cheese dip is okay.

We ordered burrito and had it for midnight snack, but to my dismay, it was not tasty, just like what my husband said. Maybe that is how they really prepare the food but I like Taco Bell better.

All in all, I will give Army Navy 3 stars for this one. But I am not sure whether to return here anytime soon. I am not sure if I want to spend almost a thousand pesos for this food again.

Red Sinigang

Since today is a rainy Wednesday, I tried cooking Red Sinigang of Del Monte recipes. I've been meaning to cook this because it is a must-cook in Facebook page. Finally, I get to taste this popular dish. It was so easy to do!

1 tbsp of patis
2 pcs finger chilis (siling haba)

How to prepare:

- Combine pork, patis, onion, Del Monte Tomato sauce and water.
- Bring to boil until pork is tender.
- Add raddish and finger chilis. Allow to simmer.
- Add okra. Allow to simmer.
- Add sinigang mix and kangkong. Simmer for 2 minutes.

Del Monte Spaghetti

Did I mention here in my blog that I am a big fan of Del Monte products? Haha. If not, then let me tell you that from ketchup to tomato sauce to spaghetti noodles and sauce, I use them all the time! Even those quick and easy mixes they have!

This photo was taken last week on my Tatay's birthday. He celebrated his birthday here with us and I cooked Spaghetti for him. I always love cooking Spaghetti especially when I have Del Monte ingredients! My daughter loves my home made Spaghetti!

McDonald's Big Mac

Last week, my hubby treated me to McDonald's because according to him, "it was a reward for being a good housewife." LOL. He asked me where I want to eat and I said I wanted to eat at McDonald's.

And so we ordered our ever favorite Big Mac. The above photo was my own Big Mac. I had a habit of slicing it in half because I am always having a hard time eating it with the whole bun.

I really love their patty, the cheese, pickles, I love everything about this! Me and my hubby loves eating this when we are at McDonald's because it is so "sulit",

My hubby eating his own Big Mac Meal.

This is how we eat our food. So messy table! :)
