Tous Les Jours

On our 1st year anniversary, I planned on giving my hubby a special cake. I found Tous Les Jours and their cakes are so cute and yummy!!! I decided to buy Love Inspiration cake, a heart-shaped cake with real strawberries on it. It was so yummy!!! They also do cake messages and I loved it when they put my message on heart-shaped cookies!

When you buy their cakes, they also give you a set of knife and candles, those tiny candles used in Korea (I think). It was so cute!!
Their cakes are a must try! They have a lot of cute designs to choose from. You can visit their Facebook page too for lots of photos.

Crispy Eggplant

Ingredients:

eggplant, cut in half, then into rectangular shape
flour
salt and pepper
breadcrumbs
eggs

How to cook:

- Peel the eggplant. Hindi kasi didikit ang flour pag may balat pa.
- Ibabad sa water with salt para hindi matabang ang eggplant.
- Dredge to flour na may salt and pepper.
- Dip sa egg
- Dredge sa breadcrumbs.

- Fry.
- Put in a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Serve with love! ♥

This is good for kids who don't like to eat veggies because it doesn't taste like a veggie! You can experiment on what dip you would like to match with this dish. Either garlic mayo, ketchup and mayo, ketchup or anything you want.

By the way, I got this from a friend's blog, Kusinerang Katrina. Thank you sis! This dish was a hit!!

Foodie Blog

This is my first attempt to create a food blog. This is about simple dishes I cooked shared by other people and from other sites. I don't own the recipes.

Since I got married last year, I committed to cook for my family. I cook simple dishes because I hate dishes with lots of ingredients and those that are hard to find.

With the help of my friends, the forum I am in (girltalk), the websites available, I attempted to cook and to my surprise, my husband loves them!

I will be posting the recipe I cooked today.

And by the way, since me and my hubby loves to dine out too, I will also share the good food outside our home. ♥
